Alexandra and Zoe start as PURE research students

Congrats to Alexandra (left) and Zoe (right) - potato planters/beetle wranglers extraordinaire - for receiving competitive PURE summer research scholarships to conduct research in the lab! They will be learning all things molecular physiology to explore the mechanisms and consequences of mitochondrial remodelling in diapausing Colorado potato beetles. We are lucky to have them in the lab, kickstarting the Lebenzon Lab’s first set of wet lab experiments!
