Hi! I accidentally got over my childhood fear of bugs a little too well, and now I'm studying them for my master's. Specifically, I'm looking at ground beetle traits and if/how they're associated with survival in dry agricultural environments. My work in the Lebenzon lab will involve examining ground beetle cuticular hydrocarbons, whose composition regulates not only water evaporation through the cuticle, but also communication! Pretty cool. When I'm not in the lab, you can find me reading, drawing, listening to music, bouldering, daydreaming, and thinking about zines.
