Hello! I am a fourth-year Zoology and Archeology dual major studying the role of oxidative stress in the evolution of insecticide resistance in the Colorado potato beetle. This work is being done in collaboration with Yolanda Chen's lab at University of Vermont. Research done this summer investigating the effects of imidacloprid and population variation will lead into my Honours thesis during the upcoming year. I’ve done additional research into the experiences of queer students in STEM and specimen preparation in zooarchaeological collections. I am also the President of the Chacmool Archaeology Association. I’m a commissioned illustrator and D&D Dungeon Master. I look forward to conducting my research in the company of like-minded friends!
